All reasons above came after the fact. It's a game and I keep going until I get what I want. It's either in you or not. Game in foreign countries is infinitely harder than back home where I had presence and reputation for marriage or casual dating success with established social circles.

If you won't work harder than ever for far from guaranteed returns, stay in the United States. This is not for the weak or comfortable. This is for men testing themselves against toughest competition and environments. Disrespect, flakes, rejections in foreign language and culture are part of the challenge.
